Hi I'm Larry P. Barnett

I grew up in Mount Vernon and I became a Mormom at 61yrs.

About Me

Well I use to be a caregiver .my wife was the one who got me interested in being a mormom. I do reccomend looking into becoming a mormom for the simple reason it means everlasting life. for you if you want to live a life of pure happyness thats where you will find it. My interests are swimming, horseback riding, skateing however I haven't done it in years. Love to go sightseeing, fishing, camping, outdoor cooking, And last reading mystery books.

Why I am a Mormon

Well the best reason I am a mormom is my wife. But the more I learned about the gospel the more I am glad that she helped get me interested. The gospel means the world to me. I am a home teacher and I go to almost all the doings of the l.d.s .

How I live my faith

It seems like all we do now that we are members is to go to anything we can that has to do with the gospel. We really don't do much else because there is nothing that would be okay for us to do that isn't okay according to our faith (L.D.S) . We go out and help people in need and we make sure we try to home teach those that need extra help in the learning of the gospel. Besides one of the best things to do is be of service to others in need no matter what ,that is in line with the gospel. I know was a pretty bad human being , of course I did't kill anybody but I was bad. I quit smoking, I quit drinking booze as well. I know it was hard to quit smokes after 47 years but with the help of the Lord I did.!things are possible all you have to do is ask the lord and if you really want it he will help you . As the bible says ask it will be given knock and the door will open.

Are all Mormons required to serve a mission?

Larry P. Barnett
Serving a mission is a choice that every individual makes by themselves. Nobody is forced to go, but there are blessings and life experiences gained from serving the Lord. Show more Show less
