Hi I'm Steve

I'm a Father who is proud of his family. I work hard, I like running and hiking. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I am a married father or eight children. We are blended family (like the Brady Bunch!) and our kids range in age from 27 to 12. I like hiking (fair weather), movies (action/sci-fi), classic cars and helping others when able.

Why I am a Mormon

I joined the Church when I was young and was baptized at eight. My mom was the first to convert to the church, then my sister and I and finally some years later my Dad joined the church. Becoming a true follower of Christ requires more then just joining his church. It comes with the knowledge that you know that the teachings are true. As I have studied and prayed I have come to know that the church is true.

How I live my faith

I currently serve the youth of the ward, I meet with them once a week for activities, teach on Sundays and spend one night a month with them on a campout. One of the things I really love about being a member of the church is that it gives me plenty of opportunities to serve others. As the leader of my family I look for things we can do to serve others, whether it is helping them move a piano, move to a different house or fix a car I find it very rewarding to help others in need.
