Hi I'm Marilou

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a full time mom to four kids ages five and under. I feel like I should be superwoman...but lack the energy. As crazy as our daily lives are, I love it. I wouldn't trade it for anything. I love to travel. I love to read...well, I used to love to read but lately I have found if I sit still for more than two minutes I fall asleep. Basically, I love being alive. I'm happy.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church. It has always made sense to me, but the older I get...the more sense it makes. I love having a solid foundation-knowing that my Father in Heaven loves me and really does care about me and how my life turns out. I love the consistency of the church-that on any given Sunday, the same lessons are being taught all over the world. In the first three years of our marriage, my husband and I did a significant amount of traveling-for work and play. I love that anywhere we went, we had an instant community of people I could relate to and become friends with.

How I live my faith

My faith shapes who I am. I pray...a lot (I need all the help I can get!) I read scriptures. I participate in the church by visiting other women, making sure they are doing well. I have spent time teaching the children in our church group.
