Hi I'm Janna

I'm a wife, mother and small business owner. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a 42 year old wife and mother. I own a hair salon, where I also work as a hairdresser. I really enjoy my work because there are not many professions where people come by choice and leave feeling better than when they walked in. I also get to form wonderful relationships with amazing people! Being a mother of a teenager is definitely challenging, but I have great help, support and tools to help me. I have my husband, my extended family, and of course the gospel to guide me through these treacherous waters! I am blessed to be married to a wonderful man who supports me through this life journey.

Why I am a Mormon

I am so grateful to be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. We have a living prophet on this earth to help guide the way and prepare us for the rough times ahead. As members of the church, we have the opportunity to serve in many capacities. There are so many ways to learn and grow through serving each other. The gospel helps me keep a good perspective on the big picture, and what is truly important in life. It helps me to remember to be kind, forgiving and humble. I can prioritize my life so I can be happy.

How I live my faith

Attending church on Sundays is such a great opportunity for me to refocus and get rid of the excess stuff the world bogs me down with. It is a great reminder of the things I should be working on and cherishing in my life. I really enjoy visiting with women from church and developing great friendships. It’s great to share and talk about the joys and challenges that life brings. It brings me a lot of comfort to socialize with people that share similar standards and goals. I think it’s so important for myself and my family to know where we came from, why we are here and where we are going. I know having those answers for my son gives him confidence and a sense of purpose.
