Hi I'm Kristi

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a mother of 3, mother-in-law of 1, grandma of 1, the oldest of 7 and married to the love of my life! I work for an airline and live in my hometown. I love to write, especially childrens books. Music is my eternal bliss. I love listening to almost all music, especially tenors, opera, 80's and songs my dad taught me to love, by John Denver, Olivia Newton John, etc. I love the snow, natural lakes, pine trees, swimming, sewing, animals and alternative health remedies. I have a son serving a mission out of the country, a daughter finising her senior year, a married son and a granddaughter, and two stepdaughters, one is married and the other is engaged. I plan to go back to college to get my BA. I have my AA in general studies. My college studies have had emphasis in English, Spanish and Journalism.

Why I am a Mormon

I have gained my own testimony of the gospel through my life. It is the one truth I know, more than anything I can see, feel or touch. I was born in the covenant and raised in the church. I am active in the church, although I was inactive for 10 years, after going through a divorce. I have had several undeniable experiences which confirmed to me that our Heavenly Father knows us and answers our prayers. I feel the guidance of the Holy Ghost in my daily life and the reassurance that the gospel is true. It is the one and only way that everyone on earth has or will have the same opportunity to return to live with our Heavenly Father.

How I live my faith

I am the ward choruster currently. In the past I have been the nursery leader, primary teacher more than once and during my youth I was Laurel president. I attended every year of girls camp from 12-18 and returned at age 20 as the camp director.

Are Mormons Christians?

Jesus Christ is our brother. We expemplify Him in all we do. He died for us so that we might live again. Striving to follow His teachings and be more like Him is the true meaning of Christianity. The name of our church, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints answers that best! We are Christians! Show more Show less
