Hi I'm Will Dudley

I am serving in the Nebraska Omaha Mission. I enjoy sports and music, and I look forward to having my own family. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in the Seattle, Washington area. I have 3 older brothers and an older sister that passed away as a baby. I really enjoy my family time, and I love getting to know anybody. I love helping people and teaching the gospel of Jesus Christ. I love growing closer to Heavenly Father and learning about the gospel. My favorite sports are basketball and volleyball, but I'll play just about anything. I can't really decide what other hobbies to focus on, but I enjoy singing, piano, guitar, bowling, golf, writing, and probably some stuff I forgot about. I am that one guy who tries really hard to be funny, and you can tell who really loves me because they are the only ones that are laughing. Yeah, if you don't love me I can be awkward to be around. But, I tell you what, I will love you anyway. I love having a lot of friends, and I can be an attention hog sometimes. It feels good when I can lift other people's spirits. I have so much to be grateful for, and I love to share. I plan to go to BYU Provo, but I'm not sure about my future career. I feel the best about Human Resources or Industrial/Organizational Psychology. People have told me I should go into law, but I say no way!!! Sorry if that offends you. I could also be a college professor or even an interpreter of Spanish and English. I really don't know, but I do know that if I am devoted to the Lord, He will make it work. Serving the Lord my whole life and having my own family will be the most important things I ever do.

Why I am a Mormon

I am not a Mormon because it makes life easy. I am a member of this church because I have felt the Spirit confirm to me that its teachings are true; I cannot deny it, and those teachings lead me to challenge myself in life. I know that I have a Heavenly Father who loves me perfectly and knows exactly what I need in this life. I also know that He sent His son, Jesus Christ, to show us the way. After Christ's mission of teaching and showing by example was complete, I know that He suffered for our sins that we may repent and have our sins washed away so that we can return to live with our Father. I know that the leaders of the Church today are called of God, just like leaders in the Bible. I know that the Old and New Testaments are the Word of God and that The Book of Mormon has been revealed in our day as a second witness of Christ and His gospel. I know that Joseph Smith received an answer from Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ face to face as a result of humble, sincere pray. I know that the Priesthood is authority from God on earth. I know that when we love and serve others, we are directly blessed by God's love. I know that God helps me with my trials and my cares because He loves me and I matter to Him. What the gospel means to me is that if I strive to live as Christ would want me to, I will be blessed with joy in this life and I will be able to return to live with my Father in Heaven along with my family...forever.

How I live my faith

Through the Church, I have many opportunities to serve. I can serve with my hands, with a listening ear, or I can share parts of my testimony and spiritual knowledge that may benefit others. Every Sunday, I have the chance to participate in class discussions. Each month, I go to families' homes that are assigned to me and another brother of the Church, and I have the chance to teach them and share my testimony with them. One of the most important ways to live my faith is to go out into the world and stand up for the truth. I can do this by teaching and telling others what is true, or I can simply set a Christlike example for them to the best of my abilities. I cannot be ashamed of the gospel of Christ. I am currently serving as a full-time missionary in the Nebraska Omaha Mission. I pray for opportunities to share the restored Gospel of Jesus Christ and for those around me to be open to the truth. I love everyone, and I want them to have what I have in my life, because it is a wonderful blessing from God. Jesus Christ is the way, the truth, and the life. I expect nothing more from the Lord in my life; I will accept what He gives me. I will serve Him my entire life and thank Him in all things. My goal is that everything I do will reflect or contribute to my love for God and for His children here on Earth. I will also raise my future family based on the principles of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He is my Master and my King, and nothing I have is my own, so I try to devote my means, time, talents, and my heart to Him.
