Hi I'm Michelle

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

As I was growing up my life seemed to be headed nowhere. At an early age my parents divorced because my dad became addicted to drugs and alcohol. I experienced many trials of my own that I learned from and as a result of that I am so grateful seeing it has brought me where I am today. I am the proud mom of 4 beautiful kids (1 daughter and 3 sons) and have been married to my loving husband for over 15 years now. My favorite things to do are spend time with my husband and kids talking, laughing, playing, cooking and serving others. I also love meeting new people because there isn’t a person out there that isn’t my friend. Spending my evenings cooking yummy food for my family, reading stories and being able to tuck my kids into bed makes me so happy. Cooking doesn’t happen every night though and thats okay. Sometimes things are so busy that we just sit around the table eating cereal and talking about things that went on and reminiscing about the past. It doesn’t matter what is on the table for dinner its about the quality time we spend with each other even if it’s for ten minutes. Don’t let me fool you though I do have my days where I am grouchy and just want to do nothing. I try not to let it happen very often though because I know the great feeling that I have inside if I try an emulate Jesus Christ! I also love reading church magazines and studying the scriptures. Although I’m a beginner I love to sew and hope to learn how to quilt very soon.

Why I am a Mormon

When I was 23 I met my future husband. I knew there was something positive in his life that made him different in a great way. As time pasted and we talked about the teachings of the church that he learned I knew that I wanted to learn so much more. Before we were married I started taking the missionary discussions and knew that what they were teaching me was true. I know that living the gospel of Jesus Christ makes me happy! By keeping the commandments and centering my life around Jesus Christ makes my life complete. My life in now way is perfect but I know that Heavenly Father loves each of us and know us personally. The gospel of Jesus Christ rejuvenates my soul and gives me strength. I know that while I’m here on this Earth I am here to learn, improve and serve others.

How I live my faith

I apply the teachings that I learn in my life daily. I attend church services and evening activities each week. I am grateful to serve my various callings. I try the best that I can to emulate Jesus Christ.
