Hi I'm Brielle

I grew up in the Pacific Northwest. I'm addicted to the written word. I love longboarding. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I live a stone's throw from Seattle and I love it. I'm a young adult trying to figure out what to do with my life. I love longboarding, reading, and I plan on writing a bestselling novel someday. I'm a huge Sounders fan and I'm addicted to chewing gum and crossword puzzles.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up as a member of the Church and I never realized what a blessing it was until recently. I had to go through my own conversion despite being raised in the Church; my parents are both strong, faithful members but I knew I couldn't live off of their testimonies forever. I decided to find out for myself if the Church was true. I read the Book of Mormon cover to cover and prayed about what I had read. It was a quiet manifestation. I knew after that prayer that I could never deny that what I had read was true. It is true. No one could tell me, I had to learn it for myself.

How I live my faith

I am in a Young Single Adult ward and it's a great way to connect with members my age. I think it's important to be what we say we are, which is followers of Christ. I have set Christ as my example and as a member of His Church, I strive to stand as a witness of Him at all times, in all things, and in all places. It's not always easy with such a perfect example, but I know that if I do my best, Christ will make up the difference. Personal scripture study and prayer every night, no matter how tired I am, help make up that difference and bring me closer to my Savior and Heavenly Father.
