Hi I'm Donella

I'm a heavy metal-rock n roller-sports lovin-writer-photographer, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

i try to keep my creative juices flowing. i love to make cards, take pictures and write. i take advantage of opportunities where i can use my talents in church. i love it when someone asks me to write a poem, take a picture or make cards for them or for something needed in church. at the moment i am writing my first book. it is a long process but i'm doing it. i love hanging out with my friends and just chill out. i use to go to a lot of concerts and big gatherings when i was younger, and i've found i'd rather be in a small quieter setting. even going to sporting events. though i love watching sports, i would rather watch them at home than being with the crowd. i think it also has something to do with the fact it's so hard for me to pay attention when i'm at a stadium because i love to people watch! i'm also big on humor. one of my daily goals is to make sure i make one person smile or even better, laugh. i love to make people laugh!

Why I am a Mormon

i was baptized 11 years ago and it was the best thing i've ever done. before, church was a chore for me. i didn't really understand what i was doing and why i had to do what i needed to do. now, i look forward to sundays and i understand what i'm being asked to do and why. i know i'm not perfect and i'm grateful i have the gospel to help me stay on the right path. if i feel i'm straying, i know i can find my way back, and it's ok.

How I live my faith

right now i am serving with the youth(girls). i have been with these young women for most of my time in the church. i love being around these teenagers. they have so much faith and yet they are still growing in their own testimony. i am extremely humbled to be able to share my testimony with them and be around them for this long. i also make and send cards to some of the women in our ward once a month with a spiritual message or just to say hi.
