Hi I'm Mike

Husband, father, salesman extraordinaire , amateur magician, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in the San Francisco bay area. Even though I do not live there now, that "California" spirit of adventure I grew up with is still with me. I am a father to four incredible children and married to a wonderful woman. I have taken a graduate degree in business and made a career for myself as a sales representative. In my spare time I love to write, perform as an amateur magician, and bike ride.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents both joined the church separately in their college-age years. I enjoyed a wonderful childhood being raised in a church that emphasized the importance of families. Even though I grew up in it, I came to a point early in my life where I needed to know for myself this was the true church of the Savior Jesus Christ. I will never forget the evening (many years ago now) I knelt down on my knees and offered a sincere prayer to my Heavenly Father. When that prayer ended I had received the confirmation that this is His church and gospel restored again on the earth.

How I live my faith

I have taken my belief in this restored church and work with diligence and persistence to follow the Gospel of Jesus Christ every day of my life. Obviously, since I'm no where near perfect (just ask my family and friends) some days go better than others as I strive to follow His perfect example. I just try to make each day an adventure filled with love and excitement. I have a job that allows me the opportunity to help other people (which I love doing) and practice my religion on a daily basis. In my local church congregation I am blessed with the opportunity to work with and serve each and every member. One week I might be going on a field trip with the cub scouts and on another I might be teaching a gospel lesson to teenagers.
