Hi I'm Jill.

I grew up in the rainy Seattle area. I received my degree in finance and now use my skills as a Mom of 3. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a van driving, boo-boo healing, stroller jogging, meal fixing, homework helping, house cleaning, laundry folding, and giving sort of Mom. I love taking my children outside to explore and play. I love to run, sing, play piano, and volleyball. Before I had children, I received my degree in finance and worked as an accountant. Since becoming a Mom, I use these skills to manage the finances in our home. My husband calls me the Chief Financial Guru in our household. We have 3 beautiful children who definitely keep us on our toes and help keep us humble. I love life.

Why I am a Mormon

I feel extremely lucky to have been raised as a Mormon, or member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I was born of goodly parents who taught me about Jesus, why I'm here on the earth, and how I can be happy in this life and in the eternities. I feel the spirit burning within my soul each day. I love the Lord. I love His Gospel. I can't deny the truths I've been taught. I know that through prayer and study, one can come to know the truthfulness of this Gospel too. I know the Book of Mormon was translated by Joseph Smith. That he saw God the Father and his Son, Jesus Christ. I know that the Bible is true as well. I know that by living right, I can be with my family forever. What a tremendous blessing that is!

How I live my faith

Currently, I teach the women 18 and older in my ward, once a month. I love this challenge because I feel I learn a lot more about myself, my testimony, and my family each month as I prepare my lessons. I also am blessed to be able to visit three lovely friends each month. We share our struggles, joys, sorrows, and laughs together. I love it.
