Hi I'm Samantha

I'm from Arizona. I love the heat. I'm a junior high Social Studies teacher. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am from a fairly big family and I love it! I love my nieces and nephews! I have been teaching for several years, always in the junior high setting. I love teenagers and all the craziness that goes with them! I love to read! I have a massive movie collection and love to just relax and watch them. I love to travel and see the world. I've been overseas to England, Scotland, and France. One day, I hope to make it to Rome, Italy!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church and was baptized when I was 8 years old. I always believed that it was true, but I didn't take it seriously until I was a teenager. I had a Young Women's leader give a Sunday lesson on having a "change of heart". It really got me thinking about my life, about how I was acting, and what I actually believed. I decided from then on I would strive to take the gospel seriously and make necessary changes in my life. It was the best decision I've ever made! I love the gospel of Jesus Christ and am so thankful for it in my life! I am so thankful to know why I'm here on earth and what the purpose of this life is! I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the only church on the earth with the total and complete gospel of Jesus Christ! I know that my Savior suffered and died for my sins and my pain so I can one day live with Him again! I know He did the same for everyone on earth that has ever lived or ever will live! Jesus Christ is real! Heavenly Father is real and is always there to listen when I pray! Prayer really works! When I asked, through prayer, for confirmation that the Book of Mormon was the word of God, I got it! I am so thankful for all that He gives me on a daily basis!

How I live my faith

I go to church every Sunday. I love going to church! I am a leader in my ward and I love to serve! I get the opportunity to work with all the women in my ward and I love them! I have worked with the youth in my stake organizing service opportunities through humanitarian work. I love the chances I get to help others, not only in my ward, but also in the world!
