Hi I'm Barbara

I'm a recently retired Kindergarten teacher and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a former kindergarten teacher, wife, proud mother of 2 daughters and 2 sons and the grandmother of 11 fun grandkids. Spending time with family is my favorite thing to do, but I also enjoy traveling, dancing, gardening and sewing.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a Mormon my entire life and each and everydayI feel so blessed to be a member of this the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. My Mormon pioneer ancestors suffered unbearable trials and hardships and because of what they experienced, they were promised that their posterity would be blessed if we strive to be faithful. Each day, I strive to live as my Heavenly Father would have me live. I know my prayers are answered and I call upon the Lord to be with me each day. I have a good life.

How I live my faith

I've always been a member of PTA. I'm enjoying being on a beautification committee in my community. At church, I have always held many opportunities, as a teacher and in leadership positions. At the present, I serve at the temple each week and along with my husband we serve as missionaries helping with a couple of the LDS Family Services programs. I've always know that when we serve, we learn and grow.
