Hi I'm Shaelyn

I sing and love photography, Disney, and spending time with family! I am a Missionary and- I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in California (my sisters and I consider ourselves the "California Girls"), then my family moved to Virginia. Since then I have lived in several places- Washington, Idaho, Florida, Utah, Delaware, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey! I love to travel and hope to do lots more! I love my family with all my heart- they are the best. Spending time with them is one of my favorite things to do. I know we can live together even after this life and I look forward to that.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the church by my parents. I have an ample amount of gratitude for my ancestors that took a leap of faith and courage to join the Church. They were pioneers and we all can be pioneers ("one who goes before to prepare or open up the way for others to follow"). I don't know where my life would be without God's plan of happiness and I never want to find out.

How I live my faith

I live my faith every day. I pray, read scriptures, serve, love. This faith takes commitment and is an every day living. I attend my church meetings every Sunday. Everyone is great and friendly. A big part of living my faith is through smiling. Why? Because I am happy! I know that there is opposition in all things. I have had rough times; we all do. But my truest joys of life have come from living my Faith. My testimony of this gospel is the source of my happiness. I smile because I want to share with you my happiness. I want you to smile, be happy, and love life too. I had the amazing priviledge of serving as a full time missionary in the Pennsylvania Philadelphia mission! It excited me to share the message of Christ and of salvation to those I came into contact with!! Jesus Christ's power is real; He loves you; and He is our Savior.
