Hi I'm David

I grew up on a ranch in rural Wyoming. I am currently in graduate school. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love the outdoors; camping, bonfires, hiking, hunting, fishing, snowboarding, and target shooting. I also love working; I enjoy working as an EMT with emergency medical services. I work as a member of a BLM fuels crew in my spare time fighting wildland fires. I also love to work on cattle ranches. I studied nutritional science in undergraduate school and I am in graduate student now.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints because I love it. Service is a huge part of my life and Jesus taught by serving others. There are many opportunities to serve others through my church. I read the scriptures each day because it helps me feel the Spirit of God and the more I learn about Him and His plan the happier I am. I know who I am, what my purpose is in life, and what my future goals are.

How I live my faith

Hometeaching is one of my favorite responsibilities in the church. I visit several families in the church to make sure they are doing well. It is a great way to focus on others and help them. I also have a wonderful opportunity to visit sick people in hospitals and visit with them and give them blessings.
