Hi I'm Cole

I love to play basketball and football. I'm 15. I'm a meat and potatoes kind of guy. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a basketball and football player. I play quarterback in football and power forward in basketball. I started playing the piano again this summer and love it. I like camping with my scout troop and playing basketball and softball with my ward. I am an honors student in high school and attend seminary and enjoy it. I just got my permit and love to drive. I like to play basketball and other sports, go to the lake, and the movies with my friends. I love all Arizona sports teams. I am always rooting for Suns, Cardinals, and Diamondbacks. I am also a die-hard Sun Devil fan.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I believe that this is the true church on the Earth today. I have read the Book of Mormon and have prayed and have felt the spirit testify to me that its is true. I know that Joseph Smith was a true prophet and that he translated the Book of Mormon through the power of God. I know that Jesus Christ suffered and died for everyone, so that we might be able to return to live with Heavenly Father if we are faithful and endure to the end. I know that President Monson is called by Heavenly Father to be the prophet on the Earth today and receives revelation from Heavenly Father. I know that the family is central to the Plan of Salvation. I also know that a family is one of the greatest blessings that Heavenly Father has given to each of us.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by following the commandments, magnifying my callings, and being a good example. I hold a position of leadership that allows me to influence my peers greatly. I help my group or quorum plan and execute activities, coordinate duties, and try to be a good example in the group. I also live my faith by obeying the Word of Wisdom by abstaining from drinking alcohol, coffee, tea, smoking, and putting harmful substances into my body. I also do not defile my body with tattoos or with the piercing of body parts. I use clean, uplifting language and encourage my friends to do so also.
