Hi I'm Brittany

I'm a college student, I'm a runner, I'm a missionary in San Diego, I'm a the goofiest girl you'll ever meet, and I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I am 22 years young;)I am studying exercise physiology at BYU Idaho, but I am currently on my mission in San Diego, California. My goal is to become a personal trainer, to coach girls soccer, and most importantly, to be a mom! I love to have fun. I love playing sports, running, dancing, hiking, boating, 4-wheeling, basically anything outdoors. I like to laugh, laugh, laugh! God has been SO good to me, I have an amazing family, and friends who are basically family, what more could I ask for?

Why I am a Mormon

Being a Mormon, and living the gospel of Jesus Christ is not just a small aspect of my life...it is the means by which I make every decision, solve every problem, and experience every joy. I know for a surety that we have a Heavenly Father, and that he loves all of His children, and because of His love for us, he sent us a Savior, Jesus Christ, who set the perfect example for how we should live our lives. I know that when I live like my Savior did, I am able to experience true happiness. He also suffered and died for me, and because He did this, He can offer me the mercy, grace, and compassion that I need when things get hard. Being a Mormon also gives me hope that I can be with my family forever. We live in a world where values are decreasing. The institution of the family is deteriorating at an ever increasing rate! The gospel is all about family, and I know that it is through family that the Lord provides us with true, sincere happiness. I know that I can be with my family forever if I live righteously. There is nothing I would want more! Ultimately the gospel makes me happy, and not just temporarily happy, I mean genuinely hopeful and satisfied with who I am, and who I can become. I can't imagine my life without it.

How I live my faith

I live a pretty normal life. Right now I'm serving an LDS mission, and striving everyday to bring people to the joy of the gospel. I love to do fun things that are uplifting, and that bring me closer to my Savior Jesus Christ. I have found that the best way to live your faith is to be an example to those around you. I want people who don't know Christ, to want to know Christ because they know me. I try to have the spirit of the Lord constantly with me, so that I can reflect his light to others and help them to desire to know Him.
