Hi I'm Michael

I'm a full-time missionary. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to play paintball, play video games, rock climb, and play sports with my friends. But that's on hold because I'm currently a full-time missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the Church, but I have gained my own testimony of Jesus Christ and his doctrine by praying for and receiving a witness through the Holy Ghost. This is the only church on the earth which has a fulness of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, as well as the authority of God to act in his name. He is my Savior, as well as the Savior of each of us. Following His teachings is the only way for us to have peace and happiness in this life and for all eternity.

How I live my faith

As a full-time missionary, my actions are an example to all those that I come in contact with every day. I strive to make my actions and example in harmony with Paul's admonition: "Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity." (1 Timothy 4:12)

What do Mormons believe about the Holy Ghost? Who is the Holy Ghost?

The Holy Ghost is a member of the Godhead. He is a personage of spirit, or in other words, he is a spirit that doesn't have a body, otherwise, he could not dwell in us. He has a special purpose: he teaches truth, comforts us, and sanctifies us. He cannot dwell in unholy temples, so we must be cleansed from sin through repentance and baptism before he can dwell in us. We must be baptized the same way that Jesus was: by immersion, and by someone who has the priesthood authority of God. Then, as we remain worthy, the Holy Ghost can always be with us.
