Hi I'm Sheri

I am from Utah originally. I live in Arizona now and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a mother of 3. I work part-time as an accountant. I also run my own dance studio and make jewelry.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church. My parents and grandparents and great grandparents and on back were members. My ancestors came from another country to settle with the saints in Utah. However, I did not gain a testimony of the gospel until I was 15 almost 16. At that time, I read the Book of Mormon and felt the spirit touch my heart and I knew the gospel was true. Although I have a strong testimony, I have been through many hard things in my life....such as miscarriages, divorce, unemployment, watching loved ones go through hard things, health problems and depression probably being the most difficult. I have found my strength by reading the scriptures daily and praying to my Heavenly Father for strength. I have learned that the world doesn't have all the answers...I need my Heavenly Father in my life to guide me and direct me in the paths that I should take.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by daily striving to become closer to my Heavenly Father. I hold regular Family Home Evenings and scripture study with my family and young children. I attend my church meetings. I attend the temple regularly. These things have helped me to stay on the right path to true happiness. I am a dance teacher. I teach my dancers how to dance appropriately and dress modestly so that they are portraying their true beauty. I am also an accountant and work with many non-mormons. I try to be a cheerful person and include co-workers in my daily life. I feel it is very important for them to know who I truly am and that I stand for truth and righteousness. I feel so blessed to have the gospel in my life. I love my Heavenly Father and know Jesus Christ is my brother. I feel very grateful for the sacrifice that Christ gave his life so that I could live. I am so grateful for the atonement and to know that one day I will be able to return to live with my Heavenly Father. I am grateful for the knowledge that I will see those who have passed on before me again. I am proud to be a Mormon.
