Hi I'm Brian

I'm a senior in High School, I'm in the band, I'm a diabetic, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am very involved in the music department of my High School. I am in the marching band, concert band, jazz band, game band, and am in the pit for the school musicals. I can play the following instruments: piano, ukulele, baritone, trombone, and the bass-trombone. I enjoy doing just about anything with my friends from playing Basketball, playing rugby, watching a movie, playing video games, or just being nerds talking about science things.

Why I am a Mormon

It's easy for someone to try to use logic and science to "prove" that God doesn't exist; but I know that God truely does exist and that he cares about everyone of us. I've come to know of the truth of the church through the spirit. When I read the Bible and the Book of Mormon, when I pray to God, and when I'm singing Hymns at church, I feel the spirit testifying that what I'm reading or singing about is true. I know that God really does hear our prayers, and he'll answer them, not by actually speaking, but through small and quiet feelings and thoughts that come from the spirit. I know that families can live together forever. I know that Jesus Christ was risen, and that he lives today.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by going to church every Sunday, reading the scriptures (the Bible and the Book of Mormon), praying to God, and by living by the standards of the church. These standards are very important to me. As a member of the church, I don't swear, I don't tell suggestive jokes, I don't do drugs and alcohol, and do my best to live the way that God would want me to live my life. I do my best to be a good example to others. I'm preparing now for my mission that I'll serve in a few years. During my two year mission, I'll help people come unto Christ and help them develop a testimony of the gospel. I'm excited to serve a mission because I have seen how being a Mormon has blessed my life, and I want others to experience the same blessings.
