Hi I'm Tawna

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a wife to my high school sweetheart, a mother to three amazing kids and a grandmother to four awesome grandkids. I have worked part time for 28 years for several eye doctors and have the perfect job. I love to spend time with my family, take the grandkids on trips, read, take walks and bike rides with my hubby and eat chocolate.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the church but my parents were not active most of my life. I would take my two sisters and walk 8 blocks to church to attend sunday school because I loved the peace that came from being at church. I met and fell in love with my husband in high school and we were marrried for time and all eternity in the temple. This means a lot to me because I want to be with my husband and children forever. I love the stories of Jesus and I know that He is my elder brother and that He cares for each of us. Being a Mormon makes me want to try hard each day to live how Jesus lived and to show compassion to others. And being a Mormon makes me happy!

How I live my faith

I am 51 but I have the opportunity to visit a lady each month who is 84. She is amazing and full of knowledge. I can learn from her and appreciate her wisdom. A person is never too old to learn and at times I feel like even my grandkids teach me things. I want to always be a good example to my family. I know others are watching my actions and I want to be a representative of Christ each day. I have faced some tough trials in my live and I know without a doubt that I could not have come through them without the power of prayer and without my Heavenly Fathers help. My faith in the gospel has sustained me even in my darkest times. I wish everyone on earth could have the sweet spirit of the Holy Ghost with them each and every day.
