Hi I'm Robert

I was born in Canada. I'm a father, facility manager and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in Ottawa Canada and moved to the United States when I was four. From an early age I enjoyed playing sports and played a variety of sports in high school. I was also fairly active in my Boy Scouts troop as a boy. I received my Eagle Award at the age of 18 and soon after left on a service mission for my church for two years. Once back I graduated from the University with a Bachelors of Science in Facilities and Property Management. I am now a Father of two with one on the way. I work for a large commercial real estate company as an Assistant Facility Manager.

Why I am a Mormon

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is led by revelation, just like in biblical days. There is a living prophet and twelve apostles once more, which is how Christ organized his church when he walked this earth. These inspired men teach by the power of the spirit and I know that the teachings are true. One of the fundamental principles we learn, is the answer to many of life's tough questions. I know that through Christs atoning sacrifice that I can be forgiven of all of my wrong doings, that families relationships do not end as we pass into the next life, but continue on the other side. And finally, I know that our Heavenly Father is intricately involved in our lives and truly wants what is best for us.

How I live my faith

I strive to live my faith the best of my ability every day. It starts by being a good husband and father within my family. I love my children and try to teach them good principles like honesty, integrity and many other Christ-like attributes. In addition, I strive to live these attributes as well. When I go to church, I have the privilege to teach a group of teenagers from passages of the scriptures. The New Testament is the focus of this years teachings and I love to learn and teach about the life of the Savior. One of the biggest ways I live my faith is through the acts of service provided on behalf of others. The Savior spent his whole life serving and I can't see any other better way to live ones faith than by following His example and serving.
