Hi I'm Marion (MG)

I'm a father. I'm a husband. I enjoy sports and fixing things that are broken. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a husband and father. My focus is work and family. My wife and I have been blessed with 5 children. Learning how to be a good parent and raise children has been hard. My wife and I decided 23 years ago to be a one income family. This decison has been a blessing despite the financial challenges that come from only having one source of income. I am self employed. I have witnessed first hand the impact the economic recession has had on my family, friends and other business owners.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have seen in my life how God loves everyone on this planet, including me. He cares about me and my life. God wants me to find joy and happiness in this life. For this reason, God sent Prophets and righteous men to teach me about His plan of happiness. The Mormon beliefs are consistent with the Principles described in the Holy Bible.

How I live my faith

I find joy in working with other members of my congregation. I currently serve as an instructor for the adult male ministry (Priesthood). My love for playing sports in a positive environment is fulfilled each week when a group of men from our community get together to play basketball or softball. At least three times a year, I have a chance to take my family camping with neighbors in our community. We have community events to celebrate Easter, 4th of July and Christmas. These events are organized and sponsored by the Mormons.
