Hi I'm Stan!

I’m a son, brother, husband, father, uncle, grandfather, electrician, friend, barefoot runner, and I’m a Mormon.

About Me

I come from a family of five, 3 sisters and 1 brother. I am the middle child. We all grew up in this church; it has been good to each of us. I’m an electrician by trade. I am married to a wonderful woman. We have four magnificent children, two magnificent in-law children, and three precious grandchildren. I love to be around people that are passionate about the things they do. My passion is people. I love to run, and at times I love to run barefoot.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into this church. Both of my parents went on missions for this church. Two of my uncles went on missions. My brother and older sister went on missions. I grew up not knowing that this church was true. In fact, in my younger years I was rebellious. When it came time for me to go on my mission I did not want to go. However, I did want to know what my family knew and what made them do the things they did. I put the Book of Mormon promise to the test. (Moroni 10:4) I came to an understanding of this church and went on my mission to the Philippines. One of the best decisions of my life! Yes I was born into this church; however I am a convert to it.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith as I know it to be true. However, I like most run off the path from time to time. That is why you will find me most Sundays at church doing my calling and renewing my promises to the Lord. If we only get three things right in this earth life it should be to be true to the Lord, to yourself, and to those that you are blessed to cross paths with. Not an easy goal to meet. This is my goal in this earth life; I try my best to meet this goal. If I do not fulfill it in this life I will continue in the life after. These are the blessings of hope, grace, and the atonement, which brings the blessing of eternal life with our Heavenly Father. This earth life race will end, Stan will not. Stan will keep running, keep trying. I am in this endless race with my Maker to perfect myself.
