Hi I'm Aaron

I am a nuclear engineer, a father, a graduate student. I love to play Ultimate Frisbee and board games. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a PhD Student studying Business Finance. I hope to become a professor once I am finished with my PhD. I used to be a Lieutenant in the US Navy. I served as a Nuclear Engineering Submarine Officer, and Naval ROTC instructor for a little over 7 years. I like reading fiction (Sci Fi & Fantasy) and non-fiction (history and science). I love ice hockey, camping and hiking. I also love spending time with my wife and 3 kids.

Why I am a Mormon

I have read the Book of Mormon. As I read, the Holy Spirit comforts me and speaks to my soul. I know it is true. I know that Jesus Christ is the Savior of the world. I am a happier, more hopeful person because of my beliefs. As I try to follow Christ’s teachings, I have my convictions confirmed more and more.

How I live my faith

I try to be an example of the teachings of Christ. I strongly believe in Christ’s words, “Let your light so shine before men that they may see your good works and glorify your Father which is in heaven.” On Sundays, I serve in the nursery, teaching and watching children under 3 yrs old so that their parents can attend Sunday School and other meetings.
