Hi I'm Jeff

I am a family man, love the outdoors, am a convert to our Church, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a pretty simple guy. I like my work as a Human Resource Director for a construction company. Two college degrees in HR and management have hopefully prepared me to do a good job at what I do. I enjoy anything outdoors. Camping, hiking and any outdoor activities are for me. I live in the desert, and will do pretty much anything to get to trees, mountains and cool. Family is first for me. Married for a long time, and love it. I have three grown children and love time with them. Grandchildren will be great. I also love cars of all types, dive restaurants, running (not pretty), reading, socializing, yard work (really), and lot’s of other things. This is me…… simple and trying to make a difference in the world.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because this is a religion that covers all the bases. Family, both living and dead are assisted in returning home to God. Friends, neighbors and community have a key role in how the Church works. Teachings answer all the questions….. especially the important ones. This Church is organized just as the Saviors’ Church was in ancient times… nothing is missing or cannot be explained. I am a Mormon because a religion that gives you a free ride can’t be worth much. We serve, we give, we sacrifice, we bear each others burdens…..being a Mormon takes a lot…. And gives a thousand times more in return. I am a Mormon because the Holy Ghost bore witness to my soul that this Church, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is God’s true and living church….period. I changed 33 years ago and never looked back. My name is Jeff Bohne, I love the outdoors, people, serving, working, my family……. And I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

Service. I lead a group of local missionaries in trying to share our faith with my neighbors. Talk. Ask anyone, I will talk about the Church and my membership in it, and how richly I have been blessed. Actions. I try (and many times fail) to live what I should and be a good example to others. I also try to spread the “joy that is in me” with others through how I live.
