Hi I'm Kristyn

I'm a wife, a mom, a creative blogger, a lover of life, and I'm a Mormon. :)

About Me

My name is Kristyn and I'm happily married to my best friend, Lorin. Together we have 3 young children who keep us entertained and VERY busy! In what little spare time I have, I also run a blog that shares all things creative! When I'm not on the computer I love spending time with my small family and LOVE making our house a home. I also LOVE meeting new people, watching movies with the hubby, trying new recipes and enjoy learning.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon for several reasons. First and foremost, I LOVE the Gospel, and I LOVE my Savior!! I don't understand every principle of the Church, but it just makes sense to me. I was raised in the Church and feel very fortunate that my parents instilled in me a desire to know the truth. My testimony slowly developed over the years, but was solidified as a Young Adult when I asked for myself if the Church was true. The Spirit bore witness to me of the truthfulness of the Gospel, and I knew then and there that I could never deny it. I'm also a Mormon because this Church teaches the Plan of Happiness, and I WANT to be happy, and I want my children to be happy. And more than anything, I want to be with family forever, not only in this life, but in the life to come, and I've learned and gained a testimony through the teachings of the Church, that this is possible if I strive to live worthy of these blessings of the Gospel.

How I live my faith

I live my faith in several ways. I have served in several church callings teaching the youth, teaching the women of the Church, and am currently in charge of our Ward Bulletin. I also live my faith through my blogging. I am very open with what I believe and have actually shared several tutorials, crafts and printables for members of my Church. Because my blog is not only for LDS readers, I have been able to share my testimony and share with my non-LDS readers how important the Church is to me.
