Hi I'm Jeff

I am a Mechanical Engineer. I love biking, hiking, wood working and golf. I have been married for 26 years and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Salt Lake City and graduated from Highland Highschool in 1979. I love the game of golf and was taught by my father when I was young. I love wood working and have a small shop in my garage. My projects include rocking horses, cabinets, and plantation shutters. I attended Brigham Young University for both Bachelors and Masters degrees in Mechanical Engineering. I specialize in consumer products and designed the WaterPik Water Flosser for Kids. I try to keep myself in shape by riding my bike on the Pudre River bike trail every day. I met my wife at BYU and we were married in the LDS Temple in Logan, Utah in 1985. We have three wonderful children and a fantastic son-in-law. Together we like to play board games, bike, swim, rock climb, watch movies, and sing together. Next to God, my family is the most important priority in my life.

Why I am a Mormon

I learned about the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints when I was 15 years old living in Salt Lake City. I took the missionary discussions with my brother. I joined the church but he waited 10 years and then asked me to baptise him. I joined the Church because I know it is the restored Church of Jesus Christ, with a structure much like the Church Jesus established anciently.

How I live my faith

In my congregation, I am in charge of Missionary work. I have had the chance to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with many other people. I sing in the church choir along with my daughter and my wife. I take my turn teaching a Sunday School class for people who are new to the church or are investigating it. I have had many callings in the church from Scout Master to teaching little children.
