Hi I'm Rita

I love being a wife, mother and grandmother and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

As a young girl I wanted to grow up and be a wife and mother and that's who I am~~a mother of six wonderful children and grandmother to twelve terrific grandchildren. Family~~~it's the greatest joy of my life! I love walking/hiking and especially love seeing the beauty of nature and all the wildlife in our area.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents were Mormon so we always attended the Mormon church. I was blessed with a spiritual sense and I knew I wanted to be a Mormon. After college when I was living on my own I read the Book of Mormon and asked for a witness that it was true. Since that time I have always had a testimony of the truthfulness of our loving Savior, Jesus Christ and our Heavenly Father.

How I live my faith

Going to the nursing home every week and doing manicures for some of the ladies who reside there brings such great joy to me and getting to know these ladies better is wonderful. But best of all it makes me feel so fulfilled as a woman. My husband and I are welfare service missionaries three days a week at the Home Storage Center. Meeting all the great people who come to prepare long-term storage for an emergency, hardship, disaster, etc. is the highlight of my day.
