Hi I'm Tricia

I'm a wife, a mother, and currently enjoy being a grandmother and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I enjoy being with family. I grew up going to family reunions every year. I had such fond memories as a child and now as a grandmother enjoy seeing my family enjoy being with each other at these events. Over the last few years I have really enjoyed searching out my ancestors who have passed away, gathering their information to share with my children and extended family. This research has helped me understand who I am and what strengths and weaknesses I have inherited from these wonderful people.

Why I am a Mormon

I was blessed with ancestors on both sides of my parent’s line that gained a testimony of Jesus Christ and joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints back in the 1800's. Each generation down to me as remained faithful in their testimony. With ancestors, parents, and grandparents that have been such an example, it was easy to follow in their footsteps until I was able to search the scriptures and gain for myself that same testimony that sustained them throughout their lives.

How I live my faith

I have had many opportunities in the church to serve those around me. I have been able to teach and focus on family history at one time serving as a missionary at the Family History Center in Salt Lake City Utah during the Olympics and then continued there for another 6 years. I have taught the small children, and currently teach the older children. In the past I have had opportunity to work with the women in the church and served with my husband with the young adults who are 18-30 and single.
