Hi I'm Chris

I'm a project manager, father of 8 and grandfather of 20. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a husband, father, and grandfather. I graduated in Social Work and Psychology and have worked with financial institutions for more than 30 years. I enjoy reading books with my grandkids, playing a little golf and spending time with my wife and family.

Why I am a Mormon

Understanding the doctrines taught by the Savior, the importance of priesthood ordinances, and the opportunities to be of service to others have given me perspective to my etermal life. The potential to beccome a family for etermity gives focus to everything I do in life. My testimony of Jesus Christ and His grace provides the strength and courage to get through every day. That's why I'm a member of the Church.

How I live my faith

Participation in the Church comes naturally as my testimony of the Savior grows. I have served in the Primary (children's organization), the young men's organization, taught adults and youth in Sunday School, served in leadership positions in a ward (bishopric and bishop), served in stake leadership positions and as a full-time missionary in Germany. I currently work with the High Priests in our ward to assist members with their genealogy and family history. The opportunities to serve have increased my love and appreciation of others and my testimony of the Savior.

What is the difference between attending church and the temple?

Churches are dedicated places of worship for everyone for daily and weekly worship through prayer, study, and partaking of the sacrament. A temple is a dedicated place for performing sacred ordinances needed for etermal life. Attending the temple is limited to those members of the Church who obey God's commandments and are worthy to enter the temple. Show more Show less
