Hi I'm Irene

I grew up in Finland. I am a Family Coach. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a single mom of four children, who are now grown and out of the house. They are successful, kind and serving. Our family purpose statement is: Our purpose as a unified, loving and strong family is to embrace life in its richness, variety, abundance and laughter, and to be dedicated to honesty, incredible closeness and support. I love reading and studying, so much so that I just earned my Doctor of Philosophy in Traditional Naturopathy. Since I am a Family Coach, the added bonus was that I did my dissertation work in coaching! I know my purpose in this world is to inspire, heal and energize parents and individuals to create an environment where spirits are free to soar and where all God's children are safe and loved, including themselves! This I do through coaching. I became a Family Coach to find a way to support parents in creating a harmonious and intentional family. It is my vision to assist parents to be secure in their parenting, to have them experience what it feels like to be capable, resourceful and confident, and to create the results that matter to them and their family. Another passion of mine is music. I dabble at playing the piano and the violin and I lead a church choir. Even though we are few in numbers, we feel that the angels sing with us every time we perform. That is inspirational to me.

Why I am a Mormon

I was baptized at eight years of age in a lake in Finland. Since then I have loved to be a Mormon! I love the Savior Jesus Christ and see how His teachings heal and make whole. I love to be part of a people who truly try to love Jesus and live according to His teachings. I love that we each can be individuals. I cherish my testimony of a wonderful, powerful God, and his Son , Jesus Christ, who love me and want to see me succeed. I know that they both live, and want to bless me in my righteous endeavors.

How I live my faith

I serve my church in leading the Ward choir. We bring the Spirit into the meetings by singing our hearts out to the Lord when we perform. I am also a visiting teacher, which means that I visit three other ladies in my Ward once a month. My companion and the three other ladies have become good friends, we love each other. It is awesome! Whenever I am asked, I volunteer with the children's program and either teach them about Jesus or sing with them. I am also a good neighbor and bring a happy, joyful attitude into everything I do. I feel this is a gift from God I need to share.
