Hi I'm Christina

I was very successful in my career. Now, I am a new mom with a beautiful daughter. But more importantly, I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a pretty normal person living in Gilbert, AZ. I work part-time in sales after my husband and I had our new baby girl. I am a social person who likes to spend time with good friends. I enjoy playing volleyball and working out. I used to play the clarinet professionally, but because of life changes, that is no longer at the forefront of my life. I have two little dogs who compete in agility. It's really fun to run with them and, hopefully, my daughter will have fun running them in the future. Prior to my family, I had a successful career in sales. I traveled every week to meet with clients and work on potential projects. This enabled me to educate others on how "normal" Mormons are. Most never expected me to be mormon, because my life was so atypical of the so-called stereotypical Mormon. I enjoyed helping others learn more about the church and helping correct any misunderstandings.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a Mormon all my life. By being a Mormon, there is a certain sense of peace. I know who my Heavenly Father is and Jesus Christ. I have consistent guidance in my life. I know what I need to do to continually become a better person. I am not confined by the world. In other words, I don't have to worry about addictions, personal immorality, etc. I know I need to live my life honestly, so it makes the decision-making process easier. Additionally, family is very important to me. As a Mormon, I know that I can be with my family forever and not just until death. This is extremely important to know that I will be with my loved ones. The church teaches us also about the atonement, or the ability to truly repent of our sins. I am grateful that I know that my Heavenly Father is merciful and wants us to return to him and set a path by allowing his son, Jesus Christ, to bleed and die for us.

How I live my faith

Every week I attend my church services diligently. In the church, we all volunteer in "callings". I have been called to many different callings. Right now, my job is to check on other women in the church to make sure all of their needs are being met. It is very fulfilling. It allows me to become closer to the women in my church. It also allows me to serve selflessly and provide much needed service to those in need.
