Hi I'm Steve

I am commercial lending manager. I like to waterski. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Marriage and family are important priorities in my life. Family vacations are something we look forward to and enjoy. Most often this includes traveling to visit extended family members. Waterskiing is something I learned to do while growing up and during vacations with family and extended family. It is something I still enjoy today. I have enjoyed discovering and learning about my ancestors. Making a connection to the past has helped me appreciate what I have today.

Why I am a Mormon

I know God lives, has a perfect love for all of his children, and hears and answers prayers. I know that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, who took upon himself the pains, sicknesses and sins of all who will ever live. He allowed his life to be taken, and through resurrection, lives again. Like millions of other people, I have learned for myself that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is the true church on the earth today, with a prophet and apostles who have been called by God, just as in biblical times. The Book of Mormon stands with the Bible, as another testament or witness for Jesus Christ, and teaches of God's perfect plan for his children, and how salvation comes only through the atonement of Jesus Christ. With these books of scripture and modern-day prophets, I am learning how to follow the teachings of Jesus Christ, to walk a path of discipleship, to change, receive forgiveness, love and serve others, and to be given strength to overcome challenges and temptation. I have found the quite peace, healing blessing, and the strength that Jesus promised to all who chose to come unto Him and follow his example.

How I live my faith

My knowledge of the gospel of Jesus Christ guides me as a husband, father, employee, and in interactions with others. I appreciate the goodness, kindness and generosity which I see in others. Although imperfect, I am trying to improve and become better each day. I enjoy the opportunity to share the truth I have learned, teach others and help others along the way.
