Hi I'm Victor

I am a husband, father, builder, and politician; and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in the construction industry as my family owns and runs a construction company. We have done a lot of moving over the years but by the time I started high school our family had settled in where my father had grown up. We still live there and very much enjoy our peaceful, family-oriented community. I have been married for ten years, and my wife and I have four beautiful children ages 9, 7, 5, and 7 weeks. The three oldest are boys and the baby is a girl. We are so grateful for each of them. My time is very scarce these days between my duties at work, home, and politically. I am a council member for our town, and it's like having a full time job on top of my other full time job. I have never been so grateful for Sunday and the breath of fresh air it is to go to church with my family and then spend the day with them. My passion is for understanding truth. I love to learn both spiritually and secularly.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I love Jesus Christ, and I want to be like Him. I have found that the teachings of the Book of Mormon lead me to Him. I know that He guides our church; I see His hand at work in an undeniable way.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to remember Jesus Christ in my everyday life; I try to think of His example and let that guide me. I try to think of how He feels about those around me, and as I do, I can feel His love for them. This helps me to treat them the way I think He would treat them. I constantly fall short, but because of Jesus Christ, I can repent, which I have to do quite frequently. I love to read the scriptures, pray, and go to the temple.
