Hi I'm Jeff

I went to the University of Michigan, work in Corporate Finance, read XKCD, and compete in triathlons. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I worked in Corporate Finance at Ford Motor Company for 4 years and now work at Dell in a similar role. So while I do know the basics, no I can't tell you why your car is making that sound or what the deal is with your mouse not doing what you think it should do. I enjoy being active, whether it be camping, backpacking, or my latest interest, triathlons. So I like living in Texas but miss mountains. I enjoy learning about what is going on in the world around me in many different ways. I was a chemical engineering major in undergrad before changing to business. I actually think physics is cool. I try to follow what is going on in politics, both domestic and international. Although I'd rather watch Jon Stewart than Wolf Blitzer. I find humor in lots of places. I can watch "Guy on a Buffalo" 100 times and still laugh (look it up on YouTube). I spend most my time balancing family, career, church, community, and personal time. I don't always get the balance right. But I try to have as much fun along the way as possible.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I've seen and experienced what living the principles of the gospel of Jesus Christ is like, and I wouldn't want it any other way.

How I live my faith

I work on my personal relationship with my Savior Jesus Christ every day. I try to be the best husband and father I can be. I volunteer with the youth in my community. I support my children's schools.
