Hi I'm Trevor

I was born and raised in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. I love baseball, the beach, and my family. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was raised in the church, but I never had that priesthood figure in my home which caused me to do a lot on my own and also living in a place where the number of members is small has definitely brought challenges. But the Lord has been great in providing for me opportunities to grow and become better than I could have ever been. I'm the youngest with only just an older sister who is special needs but is the sweetest girl ever and has really taught me to love and care for everyone. I enjoy playing sports but baseball is my thing, really anything active is what I'm doing. I love the beach since I was raised right next to it and I could spend all my time there. While serving a mission in Ogden Utah I have grown and learned a ton in how to help people on a more personal level, and really trust in the Lord and give him all the glory. I love life and I love to see someone else feeling the same way and just being happy. The gospel has brought so many blessings to my life, and it's my goal to share that with all my family and friends and really anyone who wants to learn.

Why I am a Mormon

Growing up in an area where there's not so many members with many people having different standards than me was tough. I had to search out the good things to do to keep my standards that the Lord expects of me. But I was blessed to have good friends who respected me and a mother who supported me and gave me guidance. With going to church, reading from the scriptures especially the Book of Mormon is what has keep my testimony strong and always doing what is right. I know that Jesus Christ lives and he preformed the Atonement so that we can be forgiven for our sins, as we give our whole self to him and only do his will. With that sort of repentance we all can be blessed to return to the presence and live with our Heavenly Father again and our families forever. Jesus Christ knows and understands our pain because of the Atonement and can help us as we turn to him for help. Another blessing in our lives is we have a prophet today who guides us in our lives when life can be full of temptations and trials. The prophet is the mouthpiece for our savior so that we can know what he wants and expects of us so that we can become more like him. I know that Joseph Smith was a prophet of God chosen to bring about the restoration of the fullness of the Lord's Gospel to the earth again so that we can experience the blessings that come from it. I know that Joseph Smith translated the Book of Mormon which is another testament of the divinity of our savior Jesus Christ. I love the Book of Mormon, and it has brought so much peace into my life along with being able to read the words Jesus Christ has blessed me to know what I need to do in my life to become Christlike. The Church is true. I can feel the love and guidance of my Savior when I am doing his will and sharing this wonderful gospel with everyone. I am so grateful for the gospel, a prophet to lead us, and most of all Jesus Christ and the Atonement which has so richly blessed my life in so many ways.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by keeping the standards for which I have set for myself, going about doing good. Back in high school I was always known as "The Mormon" which I loved so much because I knew people noticed me for my beliefs. Along with that came a lot of questions but like the scripture Romans 1:16 says "For I am not ashamed of the Gospel", I loved answering those questions because I could share my testimony and the gospel with those that it might be new to. I was also able to share how I went to seminary every morning to study scriptures which seemed crazy to a lot of people. But I became a seminary graduate which I'm way proud of. Just through those experiences prepared me to serve a mission in Ogden Utah. Giving me the opportunity to serve others and do the Lord's will 24/7 for 2 which is just absolutely amazing! And really the biggest thing that has helped me live my faith is being that example to everyone.
