Hi I'm Lindsey H Cottrell

I am a wife, mother, homemaker, and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I'm married the best guy in the world, who loves and takes care of me no matter what. I have two handsome sons and a beautiful daughter. I love any activities that involve my family. I enjoy being a stay at home mother and wife, digital scrapbooking, cooking, taking care of our home, doing things with my friends, and I am trying to learn how to use camera.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born to parents that were already members of this church. When I was about 13 I started to seminary, I really wanted to know if the Church was true. I prayed for many nights. Finally one night a overwhemeling feeling of peace came over me. I am blessed to know of the plan of happiness and that we can be with family after we die and that Jesus made this possible for us. I am a daughter of God and that He has a plan here for me on earth. I know Joseph Smith is a Prophet who Restored this Gospel, as well as translated the Book of Mormon. We have a prophet on the earth today. The church is true, it makes me happy, it helps live each day in this tough world. I love it.

How I live my faith

I strive to live my religion daily. I try to build a happy home. I surround myself with good friends. I dress modestly and do my best to dress my children modestly; the way you dress is a reflection of what you are on the inside. I try to pick uplifting music, books, movies, and TV, if I don't like the way it makes me feel I turn it off. I do my best not to insult others; if you don't have anything nice to say don't say anything at all. I am honest. I live the word of wisdom. I pay a full tithe and offerings. I try to serve others.
