Hi I'm Sadie

I love music. I love to make people smile. I love to volunteer. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Sadie, I'm a missionary at this current time and I am happier than I ever have been in my entire life. I'm a true-blue Arizonian, but I really do love Texas and all that it has taught me. I love to play the piano, guitar, and sing! I also love to ride horses and be outside. Most of all I love to make people smile. Nothing makes me more happy than to brighten someone's gray day. I love to serve and to volunteer and to help others to know that no matter what life throws at you, if you follow the Savior, you can come out on top. I believe in leaving the ninety and nine to rescue the one, that everything happens for a reason, and that it's always darkest before the dawn.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been so blessed to be raised in the church with a loving family who supports me. Being a teenager wasn't easy, and sometimes it's hard to know our direction in life and know what choices we should make. Being a Latter-day Saint has helped make my choices become more clear and my future more bright, because I know what I believe and I try to follow the standards that have been set for me. I know this gospel can bring so much joy into our lives if we let it, because I know the Savior suffered for all our sins so we don't have to. He's been below it all, and he knows how were feeling even when we feel like no one else cares. He loves us no matter what and he always wants us to return to him. No matter what we do, Christ always wants us to return to him. If we let him, he will take away our fears and doubts, and he will turn us into the man/woman he wants us to become. Our potential is far beyond what we will ever be able to comprehend. He loves us so much that he died for us, and lives for us now. We may not be perfect, but through him, we can be. I know this church is true with every part of my soul, I wouldn't want to be anywhere else but right here, serving him. I love this Gospel.

How I live my faith

Being on a mission in Texas has really showed me how much I love this Gospel. Every day I go out and help others to come closer to Christ, by sharing with them his perfect and glorious gospel. We go out everyday with a big smile on our face, knowing that we are a part of the greatest work on this Earth at this time. We serve others as much as we can, we are willing and ready to do what the Lord wants at all times. I love attending church every week and partaking of the sacrament, in reminder of what Jesus Christ has done for me. I love to reflect again and again on the great sacrifice of the Savior, as a reminder that I always need to be sacrificing my best, because He loved me enough to die for me, and I owe everything I have and am to Him. He motivates me to get up early every morning and to go find someone who is struggling, someone who is praying fervently for help. I rely on His strength to help me through my own trials, so I can help others. As missionaries, we leave our families for a short period of time, so others can be with their families for eternity, and that makes it all worth it.
