Hi I'm Tanner

I grew up at a smal ranch in southern Arizona. I'm a father, a husband, a firefighter, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up working construction and cattle until I served my mission in Quito, Ecuador. I returned home and moved to phoenix where I started going to school and met my beautiful wife. We now have 3 kids and all are healthy and happy. I am a firefighter in a small town and work part time at a local hospital. I am blessed to have good work. I enjoy icecream, Dr Pepper, and sporting activities. I also love camping with my family when time permits.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because after growing up in the church all my life I came to a point were I had to find out for myself if the church was true. I knelt down and prayed to my heavenly father and asked if this church was true and if the Book Of Mormon was the work of God. I received my answer. That is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I go to church every Sunday except the days that I am working on the fire department. At church I help organize and inform other members about prison ministries, general music assignments, addiction, and employment opportunities. I love the opportunity I have to help others and learn of the gospel.

Why don’t Mormons drink coffee, tea, or alcohol? What is the Mormon Church’s law of health and proper diet?

Tanner
The biggest reason that I don't drink alcohol, coffee, and tea is because I have been asked by my spritirual leaders not to. I believe thay are guided by God because I know the church to be true. If the church is true then they are men of God and therefor I have been asked by God not to drink alcohol, coffee, and tea. Show more Show less
