Hi I'm Karmin

I'm a Daughter, a Sister, and an Aunt, I love all things Disney, little kids are my favorite, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in a loving family who moved... alot, so my siblings became my best friends, and now my neices and nephews are my best friends. I love all things Disney and to spend time with those I love. I have a Bachlors' in Elementary Education and believe that everything you need to know, in life, you learned in Kindergarten! I'm currently serving a full-time mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, and even though I miss my family and my friends, I love spending all my time serving the Lord and helping others to come unto Christ.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the LDS faith but with anything in life we have to learn for ourselves what is true. As a adult I'm a Mormon because I've seen all the blessing that following the gospel of Jesus Christ has brought and I've ask Heavenly Father to know for myslef if it's true. He has answered me and continues to answer me. Through my prayers I can ask Him anything I want and through my blessings He answers me, not always in the way I expected or even wanted but always in the way I needed. How lucky are we to have a loving Heavenly Father who will ALWAYS do what is best for us.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying each and every day to follow the teachings of our Savior, Jesus Christ. By loving others as the Savior would and by applying the Atonement when I make mistakes. On my mission I've learned that the Atonement is not just for our big sins but for all our sins, big and little, and all our sorrow and heartache. Each day we should be using the gift our Savior has so freely given, the Atonement. No one is perfect and Heavenly Father knows that, so He has given us the way to return to His presence, all we have to do is use it. I'm always trying to "live my faith" better, that's why we came to earth, to have our faith tested but then to increase our faith. It is through the trying , and many times failing, but always trying again and loving others as Jesus would , that I live my faith.

To what do you attribute the growth of the Church?

The truthfulness of it! Either it's all true or it's all false, there is no in between, no this is true and that is not. God has not given us a gray area. Either Joseph Smith saw Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ and though him They reestablished Their church or he was a crazy man who led (now) millions of people astray, suffered sever persecution, and died for a lie. Joseph Smith did see what he said he saw and that because of it we have the fullness of Christ's gospel on the earth today. I have seen others come to that knowledge too and that is what I attribute the growth of the church to. Because something false could not affect so many people in a positive way! Show more Show less
