Hi I'm Susan Seare

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a Mexican-American who is a convert to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter- Day Saints. I was baptized when I was 17 years old, just 2 days shy of my first day of college. My parents are born and raised in Mexico and divorced when I was 8 years. My father struggled with alcoholism and my mom was a single mother who worked evenings to provide for her children. I am now a stay at home mom to 3 beautiful children. I married my dream man in 2003. We moved to the east cost while he attended dental school in Virginia and a residency in New York. I love to cook, read, run and eat.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that the gospel of Jesus Christ brings true happiness. As a child growing up in a home with alchohol and drugs, I knew I had a greater purpose than the sorrow I felt. I felt that there were greater things in store for me. I attended Catholic church and felt that God is good. When I came to meet with the missionaries and received confirmation of the truthfulness of this gospel, I committed to it and have never looked back. I know that this church has the entire gospel of our Savior. My heart swells with equal amounts of joy for the gospel as it does for my children.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by serving others, teaching my children the gospel, following the commandments, and helping others find joy in our savior Jesus Christ. I love attending church on Sundays and being uplifted by the lessons and talks. I attend the Temple and make sacred covenants with my Heavenly Father.
