Hi I'm Patty

I like skydiving, snorkeling and scrapbooking and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have been married to my high school sweetheart for 26 years and we have one lovely daughter. She is a freshman at Brigham Young University. I've been a nanny with the same wonderful family for the last 15 years. I love children and youth. Their endless imagination and energy brings me great joy. I enjoy reading, shopping, spending time with family and friends, scrapbooking, playing games, snorkeling and have been sky-diving once, which was so fun, I hope to do it again. I try to laugh and find joy in each day. Life is good.

Why I am a Mormon

I joined the church when I was 18 years old and am grateful everyday for that decision. I love the gospel with all of my heart. It brings my life direction, guidance and happiness in more ways than I can possibly express. I love Jesus Christ with my whole being. I can feel His love for me daily. I know that He lives and He will come again. He is my light and hope. My greatest desire is to live with Him and my family for all eternity.

How I live my faith

I live my faith daily by trying to be like Jesus. I serve in the church in whatever ways that I may be needed. I've helped organize a pioneer trek, been camping with the young women, taught all different age groups, planned and carried out activities for children, youth and adults, chaperoned dances, baked, cooked, cleaned, planted flowers and trees, basically tried to fulfill whatever that may be needed. I have learned and grown so much because of my activity in the church. Because of the church and all that I have learned, I like to help and serve in the community whenever possible. I have been given so much, and where much is given, much is required. To serve is one of my greatest blessings and am so grateful for it.
