Hi I'm Matthew

I grew up in Southern California and was baptized at age 22. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

As a father of two boys and a husband of nine years, I love my life. I am a marketing professional who enjoys transforming the way businesses communicate. I enjoy spending time outdoors with my family and I am passionate about computers and electronics. As a fluent Spanish speaker I love to travel and learn about other cultures. I enjoy all water sports from swimming to rowing and could spend all my time in the water. I am passionate about what I believe and happy to share it with whoever I meet.

Why I am a Mormon

As a college student I was not looking for religion, but when the Spirit speaks to your heart, you have to listen. Luckily I heeded its call and was baptized my senior year of college. That one decision changed the way I live my life. I can honestly say that my decision to follow the example of Christ and be baptized has positively affected every decision since. There are so few things in this life we can be one hundred percent sure of. When the Lord touches your heart through prayer you cannot deny that He loves us and He has a plan for us. I can testify that the Lord answers prayers when we ask with a sincere heart.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by striving to be an example to those around me in what I do and say. At work I am honest and diligent. At church I make sure no one gets left behind. At home I teach my children about the scriptures and the importance of prayer so they can gain their own testimony of Christ. The most important thing I do to live my faith is kneel down every day and ask the Lord for forgiveness and guidance to help me continue on the right path.
