Hi I'm Allan Hackett

I am husband and a father of two beautiful children and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

For most of my life I have lived in Arizona, although I have also lived in California, Colorado, Ohio, Kansas, and New Mexico. I like camping, hunting, fishing and hiking. I work in the aerospace industry as a business analyst for a fortune five hundred company. I am currently attending an evening M.B.A program. I love spending time with my family and watching my children discover new talents and abilities.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born Mormon and at first went to church, because my parents did. As a grew up, I went to church, because my friends were at church. It was not until my family moved to Ohio when I was junior in high school that I gained a testimony of the church for myself. In Arizona, I was one of many Mormons at school and it was easy to be a Mormon, but in Ohio I became one of only a few Mormons at school and it was not as easy to be a Mormon. At seventeen for the first time in my life I questioned my faith and through much pray and studying my question was answered. The question was simple. Is the Book of Mormon true? The answer was yes and that is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by striving to keep Heavenly Father's commandments each day and regularly attending church meetings. I am far from perfect, but with the help of gospel teachings I become a better person, husband, and father. I live my faith by helping my children learn about Christ and his teachings. I live my faith by never forgetting that I am a child of God and he loves me.
