Hi I'm Tui

I live in sunny Brisbane. I’m a busy mum of 6 children and I’m a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in Switzerland but grew up in New Zealand and Australia and come from Swiss/Maori decent. I have a degree in I.T. and worked as a software developer for a number of years. At the moment I’m a home executive running around after my husband and 6 kids...and I love it!

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up going to church with a Mormon mother. Although my father wasn’t a Mormon he always supported us in going to church. As a teenager I gained a testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ. I always felt comfortable and at peace with the teachings of the church and I still do. It just feels right! The church has taught me about my purpose here on earth, where I am going and how to find happiness in life. It’s reassuring to know that even though my father has passed on, I will still be able to see him in the next life. I love that the church is very family orientated. It teaches my husband and I how to best raise our children. It also provides us with others within our church community to help raise our children through fun activities and many learning opportunities.

How I live my faith

My family and I are active members of the church. We attend church every Sunday, we pray together, we read together, we have family activities, we try to live the gospel teachings in our daily lives by being honest and having high moral and ethical standards. We’re not perfect, but the important thing is that we TRY!
