Hi I'm Kenn

I live in the Philippines. I grew up in the Church. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hi, I'm Kenn. I was born in a family of five. I am a single adult who grew up in the church. I like attending church activities and hanging out with my friends. I also enjoy playing the piano and reading books. I mostly read during my free time. I already graduated from college. I studied Bachelor of Secondary Education major in English Language and Literature. I enjoy meeting new people and making new friends.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born in the covenant. I feel happy and blessed to know and live the gospel. I have many friends who share the same standards with me. The gospel of the Lord brings many blessings to my life and my family. I believe that Heavenly Father loves us so much enough to send His Begotten Son to redeem us from our sins. The Savior Jesus Christ showed us the greatest example we should follow while we live here on Earth as we prepare ourselves to go back to the presence of our Heavenly Father. I feel blessed to know that the Lord still gives us living prophets to guide us in these latter days. I believe that Pres. Joseph Smith is a restorer and a true prophet of God. I also believe that Pres. Thomas S. Monson is a true and living prophet of the Lord. If we heed to his words, we will be blessed. I share these things in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

How I live my faith

I also take time to participate in church activities and magnify my callings. I was called to be a Single Adults Representative and a Family History Consultant in my ward. I was also called to be the Stake Assistant Indexing Director and Stake Historian. My callings helped me meet new people and be more confident in myself. It's quite pleasing to know that the Lord trusts me to be able to magnify the callings He's given me. Sometimes, I also teach in the Gospel Principles Class. It's a class for new converts and investigators to the Church. The class is really fun as you start learning again the basic principles of the gospel and help answer questions from the recent converts and investigators. As part of the Family History family, I feel really good. Other family history consultants are very welcoming and helpful. They are easy to get along with and they are really knowledgeable about Family History. They are also very hardworking members. They donate their time and knowledge to those members and non-members who are willing to learn about Family History. Also, since I am still a single adult, I get to meet other people and help plan activities for other single adults. Single Adults Class is really fun since single members in the Church learn more about the gospel together. We mostly have the same ideas and we easily get along well. Being in the church gave me a lot of knowledge about the truthfulness of the gospel.
