Hi I'm Trent

I grew up raising potatoes in the mountains, now I'm raising a family in the desert.

About Me

I am married to my best friend, a woman who inspires me and makes me want to be a better man every single day. I have 4 AWESOME sons and a beautiful daughter on the way. I moved to Arizona to become a Physician Assistant and started a small surgical assisting group that I have managed for the past 5 years. I enjoy being a PA and working in medicine, especially in the operating room. I love being a part of helping others regain their health, and assisting them through difficult times. The best times in my life are the moments I'm with my wife and my sons. We love going to movies, playing games, eating In-N-Out burgers and playing and watching sports. I love being outdoors camping, mountain biking, and hiking. I love electronics, play games on my phone, run with my dog, and ride ATVs really fast. I love life and try to show my gratitude to my Heavenly Father by sharing that joy and happiness with others.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised a member of the church in a small farming town in Idaho by devout, faithful parents who loved the Lord and taught me to love Him, and develop a personal relationship with Him. I was taught early in life, and continue today, to respect, honor, and serve my Heavenly Father and acknowledge His hand in every aspect of my life. Even though I was born into this church, I am a Mormon today because I choose to be. The purpose, direction, and peace of mind that come from knowing the truths taught in this gospel motivate me to make decisions every day that keep my life headed in the right direction. It's a direction that is patterned after the life of Jesus Christ, and will bring me and my family closer to Him, and bring us true, lasting happiness. I know that Christ lives, that he is the Son of God, and that He is not only aware of us, but knows us each personally. The plan He has designed for us allows us to live with our families forever, not just in this life here on Earth. That belief, that is secure in my heart and mind, gives me and my wife the peace and assurance needed to confidently lead our family through these difficult and challenging times.

How I live my faith

I am lucky enough to help lead the boys that are 16-18 years old in our church. I help teach gospel lessons on Sunday and, as a group, we give service to the community during the week, and have fun in wildly adventurous activities on Saturdays. It's exciting and reassuring to see our future in the hands of enthusiastic, competent young men who are serious about living their faith AND having fun! I live my faith by being true to my morals, beliefs, and convictions in the way that I live my life. I try to make every decision, even the smallest ones, be decisions that will benefit my family and show my Savior the love I have for Him, and the dedication I have to living as He wants me to. As a family, we get up early every day to read scriptures and say a prayer together. This starts our day out on the right foot and helps us keep the perspective we need to make the best decisions we can during the day. We end each day kneeling together in prayer to give thanks to our Heavenly Father for all that He gives us.
