I am a Manager for a Car Rental Company. I also have the opportunity to attend full time College. I've been married for 2 years and have many goals to accomplish. I am part of a Bishopric as a 1st Counselor and stay very active in my responsibilities. I have a passion for music, I have played in a Mariachi Band for 7 years and enjoy performing for others. I love playing music with my lovely wife, she plays piano and I play guitar. Over all, I love my life!

Why I am a Mormon

Why am I a Mormon?.. good questions. I was brought into the church by my parents at a very young age. However, I have always been giving the opportunity to make my own choices. My father never forced me to do anything. He would just say that he will teach me the correct principles and that I had the option to choose. I choose the right and went on a mission from June of 2006 to June 2008. I was able to strengthen my testimony of the gospel and to better understand what was my purpose in life. I choose to be a member because of the freedom, peace, and love that I get from living the gospel. There isn't anything in life that can provide Eternal Happiness like the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I live my Faith day by day. I serve in the bishopric as a counselor. I love serving in his church. If I can put the key of living the gospel in 3 parts I would say. Pray always, read your scriptures, and do Family home Evening, even if there's only 2 people. its worth it!!

What do Mormons believe about "eternal life?"

Jared
Eternal life is a gift. Like a gift, you have to unwrap it. Meaning, act upon the principles and teachings that will get you there. Show more Show less

Can a husband and wife be together forever? Do Mormons believe that families will live together in heaven?

Jared
There is nothing more important in life than my family. The biggest blessing is to know that I will always be with them as long as we live a righteous life. Knowing Where I came from, why I am here, and where I am going, allows me to live my life to the fullest, all because I know that God lives, that he loves his children, and that through the Temple ordinance that me family will be together for ever.
