Hi I'm Burr

I make art for computer games, I'm a distance runner, a happily married father of four, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a husband to a woman who is an amazing mother to our three daughters and one son. I am an artist in the computer game industry. I love to run, but not in the dark. I like to be able to see beautiful surroundings; whether along the waterfront or through the wooded trails near my home. The best part of my day is when I come home and have dinner with my family, followed by the nightly ritual of reading bedtime stories.

Why I am a Mormon

I belong to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints because in its teachings I find clarity and meaning to life. I understand my relationship to my Heavenly Father and am aware of my potential as one of His children. I find comfort in the direction given by prophets and apostles today. I have come to know that God continues to instruct His children through prophets and continuing revelation today just as He did anciently.

How I live my faith

The most basic and important way I live my faith is by applying the Atonement of Jesus Christ in my life; by believing in His power to heal and to forgive sins. Also, a modern day prophet named David O. McKay said that "no other success can compensate for failure in the home". I try to live my faith by treating my wife and children, as well as all of Gods children, with kindess and respect. My family is Gods greatest gift to me and He has promised that those who live His commandments, (or 'safety rules' as I like to think of them), will be able to enjoy these relationships throughout the eternities.
